Receive hands-on experience and ongoing coaching

Learn Jelly’s professional development was developed exclusively to address the needs and challenges of elementary educators. Whether they are new to implementing and/or teaching coding-based activities, or have experience, this is the right program for them. Our 4-month program is designed to provide participants with the ongoing knowledge, experience, and coaching required to become comfortable with the implementation and continued use of coding as a tool to support instructional practices and learning objectives.

Part 2: One-On-One Coaching

Twice a month, each cohort participant will receive a 30-minute coaching session from their program facilitator. Sessions are conducted virtually and designed to provide teachers with a place to discuss progress and challenges related to the creation and implementation of coding-based projects and receive valuable feedback and support.

Part 3: Rally

Cohort participants will conclude the program by meeting in their districts. During this 4-hour rally, participants will showcase the results of their projects, discuss challenges, share learning, and exchange ideas. Ultimately, our goal is to help participants strengthen their cohort relationships and to view it as an indispensable network for continual learning and support.
